Hey bees! So I am currently trying to decide if I want to wear a headband or not. A while ago I fell in love with the ribbon headbands, but I just tried a few different styles on and I’m not sure how I feel about the ribbon hanging down.I think I’m going to wear my hair in a big messy curly low bun with a headband (maybe) a veil worn low. Here’s a pic from when we were playing around with accessories- obviously my hair is a mess.
So howdo you guys feel about headbands? Sometimes i worry that they are too princess-tiara like. If you are planning to wear one, what style? Where did you buy it? Price? And show me, of course!

i think the ribbon headbands on the right person with the right hairstyle can look great.
they don’t all look like princess tiaras.

Here is the Swarovski crystal headband I wore. I had my stylist tilt it slightly so that it looked a bit more like a tiara. Unfortunately, it was partially hidden by my hair.

I love all these headbands – they look beautiful! I feel like they just add so much! Here’s the one I tried on at Davids Bridal yesterday. It is $100, so if figured I’d check out etsy today and get one for a better price:

@MissKemo: that’s nice. i tried some on when i was unsure of what i wanted to wear in my hair. i tried one on like this (not me). my dh really liked the ribbon ones on me b/c of my short dark hair. it didn’t look like a tiara.

I voted love, but would have preferred a middle option.

@BlueberryPi: +1 I think it depends on what the headband looks like. Some look outdated and some look super chic!

@MissKemo: I don’t think you can 🙁
I love headbands! To me tiaras are too princessey, but headbands are perfect. I’m looking at lace headbands on etsy for the wedding.

I’m not a fan….reminds me of when I had to wear them as a child….like pig tails…but thats just me.
