I would do only the veil for the ceremony, and then swap it for the fliower/feather headpiece for the reception.

I say wear the veil for the ceremony and then the flower for the rest. I vote to skip the tiara all-together. Mantillas normally have enough detail in the lace that you dont really need the extra detail from the tiara.

Don’t overweight yourself with accessories – it’ll get distracting and detract from everything. Tiara OR headpiece, not both! Also, don’t do mantilla lace with a tiara – that’s way too much. One show stopping accessory at a time.

Sometimes less is more…a tiara and a lace veil for the ceremony may be a little distracting, since you don’t want your accessories competing w/you for attention. My rule of thumb is to try it all in the mirror and see how it looks together. If the tiara is simple and doesn’t overpower the veil, go for it! If you feel like it’s too much together, then heed your instincts and skip the tiara. Another option is to try your veil w/the headpiece – which is gorgeous, By The Way – for the ceremony, and then remove the veil for the reception (if you want to). Remember, YOU want to be the overall focal point on your wedding day – not your accessories.  Smile
