@toelopeornottoelope:  It’s beautiful. Just wear the veil without the headpiece for the ceremony. Then take your veil off and put the headpiece on for the reception, then you can wear both.  🙂

Not sure how you’d feel about this option (or if it would even work) but what if you put your veil in where the ribbon bow is on headwreath and then put the headwreath over it?  Maybe it would look like your veil was part of or attached to the headwreath?  I think the wreath is beautiful and I also think you should wear the veil if you want to wear the veil.  However you make it work will be beautiful I’m sure! 🙂

Have you thought of doing something like a drop veil attatched underneath to the headwreath like this:

or even moving it back so the front edge of the veil attatches to the underside of the front of the wreath, kind of like a cap veil with a wreath on top of it? imagine your headwreath is where the lace is on this cap veil:

@toelopeornottoelope:  Well Kate Middleton seemed to do both. Use a drop veil leading up to the ceremony, and then flipped it back once she got to the altar:

The above link seems to go into detail a little bit on how it worked, and what kind of material was used so that the veil was light and airy instead of more stiff and opaque.

@toelopeornottoelope:  Haha, yeah I only learned about them by reading some other posts on Weddingbee. I just had a single layer comb veil. Hope that was helpful 🙂
