I eat a lot of fruit. Almonds. Popcorn.

Some of my favorites are trail mix (not too much because it does have a lot of calories), Lara bars, fruit, smoothies, carrots and hummus, string cheese.

I try not to eat a lot at night anymore because then it just sits undecided

So I limit myself to 2 squares of dark chocolate. During the day, my afternoon snack is carrots or cucumber with hummus, some cheese and a small handful of almonds. I LOOOOVE fruit but I really am trying to eat more veggies instead. When I do eat fruit I try to stick to berries.

Granola bars are pretty good. I also like plain popcorn, yogurt and fruit, apples and peanut butter, etc.

One thing I’ve started doing recently is making a substitution for ice cream (my weakness).
I take bananas (overly ripe), cut them up, and freeze them in a ziploc bag.. then blend them up with some almond milk and PB2 or chocolate protein powder (or both).
It’s actually really tasty – I typically don’t like any “healthy” ice cream.
Even though bananas are high calorie, they aren’t nearly as high as ice cream! It’s also given me something different to do with bananas that are starting to go bad other than making banana bread.

My go-tos are string cheese, nuts and beef jerkey…all super high in protein and no carbs 🙂 

I also make a spinach dip with Greek yogurt (intead of sour cream and mayo), chopped spinach and a package of Knorr vegetable soup mix – dip carrot chips (any other veggies) or pita chips. Super yummy and low cal.

I’ve been doing berries and 100 cal packs of popcorn for snacks. If I want something sweet I have some fruit, if I want something salty I pop a 100 cal pack of Smart Pop. I also snack on nuts as well.

I also do sliced cucumbers with lime juice, chili powder and drizzled with hot sauce (valentina). Sometimes I substitute the cucumbers with corn instead.

Fresh raspberries and greek yoghurt is my favourite healthy snack. I feel like iv had something sweet aswel so no more cravings.

Here are the snacks that I do, I do different ones depending on what I’m feeling like or what I’ve bought for groceries:

Sliced cucumbers holding any combo of good stuff (examples are a square of light cheese and half a baby tomato, tuna mixed with extra virgin olive oil, hummus and half a baby tomato or an olive, tomato with part skim mozzarella and basil, avocado/gauc with a jalapeno and hot sauce, light cream cheese or Laughing Cow cheese with broccoli or any sort of veggie), sometimes I’ll add a cracker if I’m really hungry

100 cal of plain popcorn, drizzled with flavored olive oil, tossed with a bit of sea salt, often tossed with some other seasoning like chili powder or garlic powder or cinnamon

Hummus with veggie sticks

Watermelon topped with feta cheese and a bit of balsamic vinegar

Hard boiled egg with sea salt, pepper, and paprika (sometimes I’ll be fancy and add a jalapeno or hot sauce or mix the yolk with greek yogurt and make it into deviled eggs with other random things added on top, possibilities are endless!)

Dill pickle wrapped in deli turkey, dipped in mustard

Apples and peanut butter (a healthier peanut butter)

Baby potatoes microwaved, then sprinkled with salt and pepper and sometimes drizzled with a bit of extra virgin olive oil

Light triscuits topped with a bit of Laughing Cow cheese (or any light cheese) and half a baby or grape tomato

lite, low sodium, mozzarella cheese strings

pretty much any fruit.. apple, banana, orange, grapefruit..

seaweed snacks (thin sheets of salted seaweed.. like 10 calories, though a crapton of sodium)

popsicles
