My ring has a heart shaped middle piece.  Hopefully this works!

… there has only been I think 2 or 3 girls on here that I’ve seen with a heart shaped diamonds. They’re pretty rare! Mr. KM absolutely despises them.

Same with my guy, KM (not that I’ve requested one). I think a lot of people are turned off by them, hence the rarity! But, to each their own…

Well, for something you’re meant to wear your whole life, he just thinks it would start to look juvenille after a certain point, and I have to agree (for me). It’s not my style, just like having say, a pink stone wouldn’t be my style, but maybe for someone who’s super girly and will always be that way, it would be perfect for her, you know?

My guy doesn’t like them either (but neither do I really) because he thinks that they look sort of kiddy and “promise ring-esque”.  I can’t really see myself wearing one at age 50.

I can see where you guys are coming from. For me, I didn’t want the same old round or square shape. I wanted something more unique and I LOVE hearts, so, it fits!!!! I plan on wearing mine forever, rocking my heart shaped ring out at the nursing home, lol. It’s not for everyone, I know, but I love having something different. Ya know? Smile

I am not the most girly of people, and generally I’m not a fan of hearts.

I think there’s something unique about having a heart-shaped stone, I guess because you don’t see it as often, so of course, Ms.-I-don’t-like-to-fit-in wants a heart.   Besides, think of how schmoodly it is.  “Ooooh we are so in love, I have a HEART-shaped diamond!”

I think Boyfriend or Best Friend was surprised when I showed him what I’d been ogling.  He said hes saving up, so we’ll see.

I came across a star shaped diamond, which I thought was pretty darn nifty, but they’re even harder to find than hearts, and I’d worry I’d snag it on something. 🙁  My only worry with hearts is that sometimes they are cut horribly, like someone just took a bad pear and put a notch in it.

One of my co-workers (who is prob. in her mid or early 60’s) has the most GORGEOUS heart shaped solitaire diamond ring.  I don’t know if it was her original e-ring or an upgrade, but it is anything but juvenile – it is a stunning piece of jewelry.

I was luky enough to have been given a 3.2 caret heart ring from my (now deceased) husband. This ring is my VERY favorite. But, for those of you thinking of getting one….I have had this heart re-set 3 times trying to find the perfect setting. Sorry about the pictures. This camera of mine is the pits! I think you can see it well enough.
