I don’t have a photo, but I’ve compared HA to Round Brilliant a few times, including a blind test, and thought the HA had prettier sparkle and it seemed brighter, while the Round Brilliant looked a bit more shadowy. Yes the Round Brilliant has a little bit more sparkle, but it looks like a bunch of rainbow splinters. HA has definitely has more twinkle sparks rather than long skinny sparks.

Here’s my 7mm h&a from moissinateco in all different lighting. Excuse the 2 different wedding bands I was playing around with lol. I hope this helps!

I’d recommend going through the Tianyu and SG boards on here, as well as the last little bit on the cheap eBay Moissanite thread. Also, if you sign up over on PriceScope, there’s a ton of information over on the Fabulous Fashion Jewelry forums. Moissanite talk is banned from the regular boards, so we’re exiled to Fashion Jewelry. Haha! It’s probably more active and informative IMO.

ETA: I get mine next week but they’re IJ. I’ll definitely be posting pics when I get them over on PS and the SG board here.

I got my moissy (not H&A, but he has them) from an Etsy shop called TimmysJewelry and I highly recommend becauss he has the best prices I’ve seen.

This was my Tianyu H&A cut.  It’s been in two different settings.  One with tab prongs and one with claw prongs.

Great Instagram post by August Vintage comparing a H&A cut moissy and H&A cut diamond. The diamond definitely outperforms the moissy but the moissy is pretty none the less.

OP, I think you should consider AV moissy. The owner is a stickler for cut and performance in both moissanite and diamonds.

I agree with Mrs. Bill that AV are the best out there, hands down. If cost is a concern though, I’d go with one of the Chinese companies. For the quality of product they have you can’t beat the price, and there’s not really an “in-between” vendor cost wise that justifies the price jump over Tianyu or StarsGem IMO.

michellelynn9175 :  Feel like a lot of it really is luck… Because all the photos I get are terrible. tongue-out

But, I send a lot of examples when working with the vendors, and I try not to do anything completely original anymore.
