We embossed our invitations after goccoing them.  It worked great, just make sure you don’t wait too long between stamping them and embossing them.

Hi nikkolec –

How do you emboss your invites after gocco-ing them?  Do you mind explaining this a bit?  I’d love to learn a new technique!

We printed on the cards like normal with the gocco.  Then spread embossing powder (clear detail) on the wet ink and heated it with an embossing heating tool.

It’s pretty easy

where does one get an embossing tool? I am going to do this for my invites as well, but just bought the embossing powder and gocco so far…

hokouk, my mom actually uses the toaster. You just can’t hold it so close as to burn it.
