A necklace to wear on the day of the wedding

I was a flowergirl at about 8 years old, and my aunt gave me a fake pearl bracelet with little roses on it. I LOVED it. It’s at my mom’s house still, I bet, in all my junk from my childhood. I wore it every time I got dressed up (usually for church) until it didn’t fit my wrist anymore.

My aunt gave me a necklace when I was her flower girl. It was a silly little necklace with a bunny on it, but you would have thought it was gold! I loved it!

Agree 100% on the jewlery thing. I always felt so special when I was little and got some bling 🙂

SIL bought her Flower Girl a really cute bracelet with her name engraved on it. She loved it!

What about a charm bracelet with a charm?  Then it is something they can keep adding to forever (and resize as they grow!).

I am having pearl bracelets made for my girls. I am just try to figure out something small to go with it just in case they aren’t excited with the jewlery.

I’m in the same boat, mine is 8 and I have NO idea.  She actually has a fair amount of jewelry for an 8 y.o.  Right now I’m looking at personalized jewerly boxes, but haven’t made any decisions yet.

Maybe some kind of pretty keepsake? It’s not something she could play with necessarily, but it’d be something she could hold onto even after she’s grown up a bit (jewelry box, vase, something wedding-themed?).
