So, I currently have two pairs of shoes and I can’t decide between them!
They are both blue, but one is a flat ballet style and the other is 4″ with a 2″ platform.
I rarely ever wear heels, like special events only, is it impractical to try to wear the heels or should I just go with what I know will be comfortable and easy for me.
I am just getting so caught up with what people keep saying I am supposed to wear.
Are flats ok?? Help please!

I say flats, it’s what you’re comfortable in. also, you’re going to be on your feet all day, walking in grass (?) to take pictures, dancing (?) at the reception. haha just not sure what your wedding will be like but you get the idea. you don’t want to be teetering around on heels you’re not used to

@lynashag Definitely lots of dancing and a fair amount of walking, good call!!

I think flats are perfectly fine, if you’re wearing a typical dress, nobody is going to see them unless you want them to!
Around my area, brides even change into flip flops, sneakers, or even slippers for their receptions! Can’t say I blame them!
I’m wearing flats, or wedding flip flops, I’m not a heels girl and I’d probably fall on my ass if I attempted!

I was set on wearing heels for my day, but I have a painful bunion (ironically it is from wearing heels every day when I was younger lol). I was going to deal with it, then change to flats. BUT ya know, when youre not used to wearing heals then you do, the damage is done and your feet will still hurt when you change to flats. So i am going to wear flats, I would much rather enjoy my day then worry about my painful feet the whole time
So I say wear flats.

I wore flats and couldn’t have been happier about the decision, despite the fact that a consultant at one bridal shop told me I “had” to wear heels of some sort. I was SO comfortable all day and never had to worry about the stability or discomfort of heels. I wore these:
It’s worth noting that I’m more comfortable in flats in general — I’m 5’11” so I don’t often “need” to wear heels for anything, although I do wear them from time to time.

I’m wearing flats! Well, maybe something with a one inch wedge… I want that extra bit of height for my hem. But I am definitely NOT a heel/platform girl and I would rather be comfortable than stressing about whether or not I’m going to fall over when I walk lol

Very glad I opted for flats!

I’m wearing flats. You don’t have to wear anything that you don’t want to!

flats for you, but I feel much sexier in heels, therefore
i choose heels because I wear them regulary and find them relatively comfortable.

I voted flats. I am wearing flats to my wedding. I bought a pair of flats and DIY them into being glittery royal blue 🙂 My FH is 6’4 and I am 5’4. The height difference is definitely big, but I never wear high heels so I don’t know why in the world I would wear them to my wedding! I would be an awkward stork in heels haha! I say do what makes you comfortable. No use in worrying about walking in heels or something when it’s your wedding!

Heels for me! They are only 3.5in so much more comfortable than my usual 5in ones 🙂

Do both! Where heels for the ceremony and then change into flats for the reception!!

I’m wearing flats! I also only wear heels on special occasions and even then, only if I know I’m going to be on stable ground and not on my feet for too long! So I’m sure flats are going to be so much better. Especially once we decided we were going to do it in the grass!
So I think flats are a great option. And if it’s a long dress nobody will even know!
