I am 5’5″ and Fiance is 6’3″, so I need to wear something for height.
I’m trying to decide between a pair of Menburs in midnight blue
And basically a pair of blinged 3 or 3.5″ flips.
Does anyone really care if the bride wears flips? We’re not doing garters so no one would really be looking.

Pumps! Plus – Menburs are super comfortable!
I think flip flops of any height or style are too casual to be worn with a formal wedding gown.

I really like the pumps! = )

Why can’t you do both? Wear the pumps for say pictures and ceremony and then change to flip flops for say reception/dance?

@Sassygrn – because I’m cheap 🙂

People will still see your shoes either way. You will lift your dress to dance or step out of the limo or walk down stairs.. so if you dont mind people seeing you wearinf flip-flops then thats fine. But usually I thought people wear flip flops because they are flat and comfy, but if you want height then I why not just a nice shoe

I like the pumps but I would pick whatever you are most comfortable in.

@Bells – I was hoping that the flip flops would be more comfy/stable than the heel, but I know people on here LOVE their Menburs!
I think I’m going to have to suck it up and get the heels. A frenemy told me I couldn’t get the flip flops (which honestly makes me want them more) but both Future Sister-In-Law and Future Mother-In-Law said they were fine, so I was back to indecision.
