I’ve started shopping for my shoes and I am picky picky picky! My feet hurt super bad after a night of wearing heels, but every nice pair I see is at least 3 1/2 inches. I was thinking of switching to cute flats for the dancing half way through the reception, but friends have warned me that if I switch I’ll be tripping all over my dress.
Is this true? Have other ladies switched shoes to dance? How did it work out? THANKS!

There are definitely lots of 2 inch heels! Might you be interested in that? I do agree, though, they are hard to find. But you will certainly be more comfortable! I’m getting 2 pairs of 2-inch heels, in case one gets uncomfortable; sorry I can’t help with advice about whether different heights will be annoying!

I plan on switching to platform flip flops.
They have lots of different heights depending on your origina shoe height 🙂

I plan on switching to a lower heel for the reception, and my dress will be hemmed to match the lower heel rather than the higher (ceremony) heel. The heel height difference is only a couple inches, and I really like the look of my ceremony heel peeking out a little.
At my friend’s wedding, she changed from a 3″ heel to a flat, and yes, she was tripping over it a bit. But she didn’t care too much – her venue was indoors, and her dress didn’t get too dirty.
