Are there any other bees out there who are WAY shorter than their SO? I am 5ft3 and FH is 6ft4. I’m really worried that the height difference is going to be super obvious in our wedding photos. I will be wearing heels but even with heels there is still quite a big height difference. Could I stand on something for extra height or would that just look even sillier? Any advice?

Personally, I wouldn’t try and make myself any taller than the heels I chose to wear. I say this because you’re shorter than him in real life…obviously you’re gonna be shorter in pictures. I don’t think it matters — I actually think it’s cute!

Since he’s so much taller why not have him carry you in one picture so you’ll both me at the same level? I think that’d be cute. (Sorry to post twice, lol)

I am excatly 1 foot shorter (he is 6’2 & I am 5’2) then my husband & with heels, its like 10/9inches”ish.” I think short girls w/ tall guys look so cute, esp when you catch pics of him looking down at you. 🙂 Just be yourselves, stretch up when he kisses you & he will lean down, just like you normally do.

Hmm… Let your photog know you want to get some where the height difference is so blatantly obvious. They should be able to help you figure something out for some pictures.

My husband and I are about the same height difference (a foot), and I only wore 2″ heels. Pics still came out great!

Many times there will be a set of steps at a venue. Perhaps you can just be up one step so you are closer, your gown will cover the fact that you’re on a higher level. Take a few pics both ways.

SuperDuperBrit I love the idea of him carrying me in a shot that would be super cute.
AnnieAAA The first photo of the two of you reminds me a lot of FH and I, the way you are stretching up and he is leaning down.
Perhaps I will try to embrace the height difference, thanks so much for your help ladies.

I think it’s better to show the height differents like one of the other bees said. That’s the way it is in real life!
