I think you can do it

You can absolutely do it.  Just pace yourself and deal with one thing at a time.  I attempted to get quotes from photographers, florist, and up-lighting people at the same time and I felt like my head was about to teeter off.  I learned to just focus on one task at a time.  I have a lot checked off my list already but I feel like I was super early doing most of the bookings.  Vendors may have thought I was crazy.

@FutureMrs.browneyes:  We got engaged just a few weeks before and will be getting married 1 week after you. Darn those boys for not getting down on that knee earlier!

I think you and are are pretty much on the same timeline! We put a deposit down on our venue…. last week? Im also looking at giving my photographer a deposit soon (Im so excited about her!!) and the DJ isnt a priority so Ill give that to the Fiance to take care of!

@FutureMrs.browneyes:  We’re date twins!! 🙂 I got engaged at the beginning of September, so I’m not too far ahead of you. So far we have our reception site booked and deposit paid, the venue location isn’t accepting bookings until the year of the event…so I have to wait until January to book it. It makes me nervous someone else will snatch up our date, so I have about 4 alarms set in my phone to call the first Monday in January! Lol 🙂 I already found my dress and paid the deposit on it, and we booked/paid our photographer and just took our e-pics last week. My FI’s aunt is a professional caterer, so she’s doing the reception for free! I need to figure out if I want to DIY the draping/up lighting myself or hire someone to do it. I also need to find an officiant and DJ. But so far I think I’m doing pretty good. You’ll be fine if you pace yourself. I was worried that I was going to get it all done super fast and have nothing to do next year-but there is so much to be done I’m not sure if that’s even possible!
