Hi, Welcome to the Hive! Do we get to see the dress? I never tire of looking at pretty dresses 🙂

I moved you thread to the DC board, maybe a local bee will see it and have a suggestion for you for photographers and flowers.

We are month twins!!  I am starting to stress out a bit about finding a DJ & photographer…I don’t necessarily want any of the generic, larger companies but they are so much more affordable!

@FtrMrsAMH:  for flowers try Davinci in Silverspring. I found they had the most resonable price and got my ceremony bouquets, boutinaires, etc.. for $500 and im using orchids that are expensive. You have to make an appointment.

As for photographers try RMN www.rmnphotography.com/ our package starts at $1500

If you are going to spend money somewhere, spend it on the photographer. After the day is over the only thing you’re going to have to remember it is photos. From what I have seen, you get what you pay for. I saw a guy who was offering a very nice photo package (included things like albums and engagement photos) for $850. Honestly you couldn’t have paid me to let him do our photos. They are awful! We are splurging on our photographers but we are going to have some damn beautiful photos to remember our day. Worth every penny.

@FtrMrsAMH:  that was $500 without centerpieces. Now that i have a venue i requested a new quote to add the centerpieces.
