Just my opinion: that diamond doesn’t look that great to me. I could tell it had a bad cut before I read your post. Cut is most important out of the Cs

It looks gorgeous to me. I’d plug in the specs on the HCA (Holloway cut adviser) tool on pricescope and see what it scores

That is one beautiful ring! I wouldn’t worry so much about the cut. It seems like it has a lot of fire and sparkles like crazy. If you and you’re SO are happy with the way it looks and you can see yourself wearing it everyday, then that’s all that matters. Congratulations! Ring shopping is a lot of fun. Take time to enjoy it!

Here is a chart of how cut can affect the way a diamond looks. I could tell because the table is big and deep-looking if that makes sense. The only thing that matters is that you like it though

Idk bee. Im no expert but the diamond looks beautiful on you! Do u know the cut of the diamond  by chance?  Cut is most important. The finger coverage is great too!

owls :  You should determine what is the most important to you vs letting the internet or a random stranger influence your opinion. If you think it’s pretty and are happy with it, does it really matter if the cut is great or not? Most people wouldn’t know the difference. And asking a wedding board about a ring will also give you skewed responses as a lot of people here do know their jewelry and will have a sharper eye.

If it bothers you that much, then get a stone with a better cut. Keep in mind, it’ll drive the cost up a lot.

No from me because of the cut.

If you love it, get it. But I agree with wander that the diamond looks a bit off, almost splintery like a Forever One brilliant moissanite. It’s a large stone, if size is more important to you then cut, go for it, after all, you won’t be looking at the certification you’ll be looking at the gorgeous stone on your finger!

If you love it, ignore the pedigree!
