NotFroofy and I walked down the aisle together.  NotFroofy is not in contact with her family for unrelated reasons, so she asked a few close friends to be there for her.  The only one from my immediate family who disapproved of the wedding was my sister’s husband.  Fortunately, my sister stood up to him and said she was coming anyway.  And her husband is pretty much an a****** anyway, so he wasn’t missed.

So disappointing to hear that 🙁

My advice would be to find acceptance of their beliefs and to continue enjoying this special time for you and your Fiance.  Don’t try to change them or spend too much time thinking of how hurtful they are, but focus on how wonderful it is for the two of you to be getting married. 

As for walking down the aisle – I say walk alone and be proud.
