Welcome to the hive!

I wanted out decor to be something we could use again or we already had so we went with christmas. I LOVE LOVE christmas and that way all the money we are spending on decor isnt a total waste!

Welcome to the hive!

I didn’t come out with a theme right away when I started planning. I just kind of left my mind open and it developed over time. I knew my colours and the style I wanted and just kind of made decisions based on what I loved and it turned out perfectly!

Good Luck!

Hi Mrs. Budget!  Welcome to the hive!

…and congrats!

Well, I must say we jumped back and forth a lot about a destination wedding, etc and then finally agreed to get married in PA.  I’ve always loved Halloween and fall, so that’s why we went with Oct. 29th!

Good luck with the planning.

When it came to the color scheme, I knew I wanted purple since it’s my fav color. Fiance decided Navy. We went through a bunch of different themes. First it was gonna be a simple cookie cutter wedding, then it was a fantasy with faeries and dragons, now it’s concert inspired but seems to be leaning towards a vintage goth with concert inspiration.

P.S. I don’t actually have a “theme” if that helps… Color scheme, yes. General feeling (classy, elegant), yes. But theme, no. 🙂

hello all, and thanks for the input!

well, as you all know I am still very new to this whole ‘blogging thing’ and to top it off, I am not exactly what you would call ‘technologically savvy’.

SO (!) , my first question is – what is the difference between a ‘blog’ and a ‘board’ on this site? and #2 – how do I post a blog?
