I’m ready to bang my head against a wall…
Bee’s have any of you been SO stressed out about your wedding, you’ve felt like this too?
We’re coming up quickly on our date, December 22, and theres still so much to do and buy!
We’ve been lucky enough that our talented photographers are free and our wedding cake is a wedding gift from a very talented friend, Mine and my MOH’s make-up will be professionally done for free, and my hair is free.
Yet, we still have to cancel a cake that would cost us $165 (which we don’t have and probably won’t by that point), Make sure our preacher will still be coming (He’s moving in the early month of December to a multitude of hours away) and break a friends heart that he won’t be marrying us like he thought, (because to me it seems like when you get engaged EVERYONE gives themself a job or title WITHOUT asking and though the gester is nice, it’s sometimes unnecissary), and in the end this is the same friend who, he and his wife, were suppose to make the cake that we have to cancel. We’ve still got to finish paying for my dress, getting our marriage license, and pay for our honeymoon (Which will be well deserved by the time all this is done! lol).
I also have finals the week of my wedding! Eeeeekkk!!!! (I’m a Medical Insurence Billing and Coding student)
I’m beyond excited to marry my Fiance and can’t wait to go from Miss to Mrs, but Bee’s at this point in time ANY advice you all have is welcome. Ways to calm the stress, A way to break the news to the above mentioned friend, Wedding money tips, Time tips, Anything and everything.

Just remember it is ONE day! Yes it is a special day and an important day- but it is still only ONE day for the rest of your life. Make a list of everything that needs to be done and tackle each item a day until the list is complete. Put the more inportant things on top. Ask your parents or others close to you, to help with list.
I am getting married before you and I have NO wedding related stress right now- all I have left to do is the music selection, picture list and the seating charts. We are still waiting on some money to pay everything off, but I am finding this time to count down rather enjoyable. I also had a long engagement though and planned for a long time. Maybe the week of I will finally see some of the stress.

My parents are paying for the majority of everything and I have an Aunt who is helping with reception food.
I guess a lot of my stress is school, bills, and wedding planing all on top of each other and not enough hours in a day and too much month at the end of our money.
I need a vacation! haha.
I’m excited about our big day, as is he, I’m just ready for everything to be done and over with so we can relax and enjoy the day.

Focus more on the school part then and try to get some studying out of the way. I am also in school- taking 4 classes, working full time and I have two kids… a lot is on my plate but I find that when I am busy, I am happy. I make a list every day of what needs to be done, wedding related and not and go about my day following my list and the calendar.
I will admit, I have gotten behind some (such as the music list I started 3 weeks ago and still haven’t finished) but I still have enough time to eventually get it done. Don’t stress, you will be fine, especially when you figure out what you have left to do and putting them in priority to complete.
