I’m awake and it’s killing me! I’m so sleepy, but my throat hurts like a you-know-what. 🙁 I also have a snoring Mr. Scissors next to me. :p

What’s keeping you awake?

I’m still awake, I had a little cake “incident” with a cake that I was making for tomorrow, so I had to start all over again.  Waiting for the new one that’s in the oven now, but I’ve still got about 1/2 an hour left to wait.

Oh, that really sucks. What happened with the dud cake?

P.S. At first I was thinking you were talking about something else, because baking cake is a code-phrase in the Scissor household for something else. :p

The dud cake pretty much crumbled on me because I was messing with it before I should have.

LOL, not sure what the code phrase for cake baking in your house is, but I’m thinking I might like that idea for something 😉

Well I have a whole extra one here, lol!  It may not be pretty, but tastes pretty delish (it’s a rum cake)!

I’m awake! I worked till 3a.m tonight (stupid holiday floorset hours. I’m the manager) and now I am wide awake! darn! FH was half asleep on the couch when I walked in so I made him go to bed.
