@DaisyCakes: Agreed! I can’t do my nails until christmas eve! I have a full week of baking and marshmallow making and I wouldn’t want to mess anything up.

I am getting my nails done Wednesday! First time for Gelish French manicure. I’m pretty excited to havepretty nails, but even more excited for something sparkly to put with it!

Do you other girls have a ring picked out or will it be a surprise? There is a Verragio Insignia 7050 with 1 carat round Mira moissanite set in it waiting for me somewhere hidden in the house!

I’m so excited for everyone! Can’t wait to check the bee between now and New Years! Good luck ladies!

I have a french shellac manicure right now, but I’m getting it re-done next Thursday!

I helped pick out my ring … I just don’t know when he’s going to propose!

@JuniperSage:

Very pretty. Is that a pink stone or does it just look like that because of the lighting/rose gold? I considered a pink stone(s) for an e-ring because it’s my all time favorite color, but in the end chose not to. Always the option for a pink sapphire wedding/anniversary band though!

@DaisyCakes:

Thank you! That’s exciting that you will get a surprise, and still get what he knows you like.

I am really excited to read all the holiday proposals that will be coming up and see everyone’s beautiful rings!

@Pinkmoon: It’s a natural, peach champagne sapphire…. from Etsy seller EidelPrecious. She described it as “a perfect combination of rose, orange and beige.”  Haven’t seen her in person yet … can’t wait!

My ring is en route. I’m beyoind excited. I leave in 9 days and 20 hours to see my love, and I will be coming back an engaged bee. I’m over the moon. I did my nails last night, but I work with my hands so I never wear polish long before it’s chipped and worn, so I’ll be doing them again before I go. And probably often while I’m there. Did I mention I’m excited?

@MeAndDubby

This is a super exciting thread. I think we all know that crazy hyper excited feeling that each day now could be the last before you’re engaged. I’m away for work right now, but I get back in a few days and I can’t freaking wait!!! And Christmas in general is my favorite time of the year so that just makes it extra awesome. πŸ™‚
