Boyd2016:

I have have one carat total on my size 7 finger.

My ring set has baguettes and seven diamonds in the shape of a flower as a main stone.

1.25 ct won’t look too big on a size 7 finger at all.

Boyd2016:  Get the larger size, heck…I’d go go 2ct if you can! I have a size 8 with a 2ct. forever brilliant round moissanite. 2ct. is a perfect size, my stone sits a bit high but I love it and just wouldn’t change it! Second pic is with my 5 stone moissy band I can’t wear quite yet!

Boyd2016:  I was only slightly concerned about that happening but I’ve found myself telling people outright what it is and don’t try passing it off as a diamond. I just love, love, love the sparkly! People also seem very interested in learning about moissanite since aside from the boards, you don’t hear about it much IRL. Many of the ladies that have swooned over my ring seem to think it’s fab! I even get a guy or two interested in it!

I think  1.25 carat will show more yellow color than the one.  If thats important to you, 1 will be just as beautiful if not more.  If you are going to go with the 1.25 definitely get an enhanced one. Mine is 1.25 set in a setting from Shane Co with diamonds on the sides.  I wouldn’t recommend putting a large unenhanced next to diamonds because you will see the color difference. In artificial lighting my moissy looks the same as baguettes but on a cloudy day I see the yellowish tint.  Still more beautiful and sparkly than most diamond rings I see women wearing. My finger size is a 7.25.  The ring is currently sized at 7.75 but it is loose on my finger and I need to size it down.  I have some videos of it on youtube in natural light and inside lighting. Look for north star if you want to see them. The top pic of it is in the natural light on a cloudy day at its most “yellow”. You can see the diff between the diamonds and moissanite.  This is a forever brilliant.

My center stone is a 1.25 fb oec moissanite. And I’m a size 7, I think it’s the perfect size.

Boyd2016:  I have 1ct plus center diamond-not sure exactly Darling Husband just told me it’s over 1ct but under 1.5. I thought I would want bigger but I was actually a bit self conscious in Walmart today, so I think I’m good. I wanted a Moissy but my husband refused-he didn’t like the idea of it not being a “real” diamond. my rings are a 7-the muffin top was due to so e water retention, normally they are spinning on me.
