you can get a ring for $20; seating charts and table numbers make yourself for just the cost of paper ($5 maybe); and the tux is free if you have groomsmen renting also

the important thing is cutting costs wherever you can.

You could get a second job. Or, scale back the catering and alcohol. Or, simplify the cake design so that it doesn’t cost as much to make. Buy a stand-in ring for your Fiance. Cut down the cost of flowers by not doing bouts or corsages.

That is exactly why I started very early getting things and also made a strict rule that I will not get anything that I can’t pay for right then and there.  I would say get a second job or cut back on some things for the wedding.

Start looking to see where you can cut back. Start with the decorations. I agree with the PP that a stand in ring can work. If your FH already owns a decent suit skip buying the tux or you could rent one. You could do your own hair and makeup on the day or get a friend to fo it. You can easily make seating cards. escort cards, table numbers, menus etc. at home using your printer and online templates.
