So I bought these white moroccan lanterns for my centerpieces. Half are the hanging and half are the regular ones. I thought it would work if I just wrapped some garlands around the bottom (and around the stand for the hanging lantern). Well it needs more and I don’t know what to do. I saw an idea that someone used of putting the lantern in a box or basket and surrounding it with moss or plants, BUT I kind of want to keep the moroccan theme and that would definitely stray from that. Our tablecloths are a dark pink color and I’m also on a low budget… I have no idea what to do!! I would love some suggestions. 🙂

Hmmm…..They definitely need to be up on a pedestal somehow. Maybe wrap the books in Moroccan-themed paper? I’ve tried googling to see what kind of pictures I can find but I haven’t found anything yet…..

How about putting them on top of some old vintage books? You can probably buy very cheap ones that have a cool binding at a used book store or the library. If the don’t have books with great bindings, you can always bring or buy wallpaper or wrapping paper to cover them so that they will match your theme more.

I like the look of the short and tall on tables. I’m wondering if the garland will make them look cheap. I love the simple look of the ones in the link provided by tessabella. Would bright colored flowers or candles bring it some punch? Good luck and keep us posted
