I keep trying to post this topic, but it keeps failing on me for some weird reason! ACK!!
I have fallen in love with a dress that I can’t justify spending $1400 on. It’s so simple and pretty, yet very different from anything I’ve ever seen. I just love it. We are having a very intimate backyard wedding, and this dress is just perfect.
I have contacted a dress maker on etsy, but she says she can’t get the same sort of lace, which I was afraid of. I have also been looking for a pre-owned with no luck so far.
I am looking for something very similar to this dress (saja VN6609) that is not really “bridal” looking. Casual, whimsical, and leaning towards a vintage look.
Anyone know where I can look?
Thank you bees!!

I love the dresses from The cotton bride. They’re not in your budget. I think they start at about $1800, but you might get some inspiration from the pictures.
This one actually really reminded me of your Saja dress.

@Sheesh19: Thankyou for the suggestions! I do like the two Sue Wong dresses you linked to…and shopruche has some super cute clothes, but I didn’t see anything for the wedding. I’ll keep checking them out through the year. 🙂
I’d like to keep my spending around $500 if at all possible. I know that might be IMpossible though. :/

@angela85: I have never seen the cottonbride before. I love them! The one that you linked to is the only dress I’ve seen to give me a similar feel to the saja. Good call! 🙂
I’m also liking a Claire Pettibone gown too, but seems it’s also out of my budget. Gah!
