We are doing an indoor wedding of about 50 guest…however due to weather uncertainty and finances we are doing ceremony and reception in same basically one room building. We are not serving alcohol because the space does not allow. We need a budget friendly idea to get people outside so we can do a quick (10-15 min) change from cermony to reception. Any ideas??

Can you have appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks (a cocktail hour, of sorts) outside?

Obviously you will still have to be praying for good weather if you want all the guests to go outside.
Ask the photographer to do a pic of everyone- from a high ladder or the roof

Have a receiving line outside? If you leave the space, the crowd will probably follow.

What about having them seated at their dinner tables during the ceremony so you don’t have to switch the room over at all?
