Keep in mind for the following:

1.  When you pay them, make sure you are following the laws of required by your venue.  Some people require that, if those teens are contractors, the venue be notified.

2.  Minimum wage compensation. 

3.  You will be serving alcohol?  Make sure you notify the venue of the ages of the teens working you don’t want to be liable.

Set up and clean ups are big jobs. Not sure I would entrust that to a teenager. 

Do you know the teens? Are they coming to the wedding? Where is your wedding being held? Are the teens expected to be there for the duration of the wedding and reception or just show up, set up, leave and then turn up later to clean?

Fair compensation is dependant on a number of factors not mentioned.
