I need some ideas on how to accessorise my dress. Originaly I was going to wear my hair in relaxed waves with flowers or a wreath in my hair, forgoing in veil. But our wedding became a bit more formal and everybody insisted that I must wear a veil. My seamstress suggested I wear a simple raw edge veil that goes slighly past the train of the dress (the dress at the back is just lots and lots of petals, so it’s quite busy ).
So far I just have the shoes. I was also thinking about a coloured sash in either the blush colour or toupe, not sure if I want bling on the sash. I have noticed that most brides lately have been going with an earings/bracelet combo vs a necklace/earings set. I think I might feel a bit naked up top without something around my neck , but I don’t want it to look too busy. I have no idea what I’m doing with my hair… I guess up if I wear a long veil?
Our theme is Midsummer Nights Dream so I am going for a whimsical, faerie queen feel.
Thank you guys so much!

@peaseblossom: I LOVE your dress and your shoes!! I do love the idea of a raw edged veil, and FWIW, I think you should still do the relaxed waves look – it’ll look beautiful with a veil. I don’t feel like you need much – what are you thinking for jewelry?

@peaseblossom: Wow what a beautiful statement dress! Love the shoes as well. I think since your dress is such a statement on your own so you don’t need to much as far as accessories. I like the idea of earrings and a bracelet and skip the necklace. I think a simple raw edge veil would be perfect as well!
Maybe something like this for accessories
I really like the idea of maybe some drop earrings like this with your dress
this is what they look like on
and maybe a bracelet

I would go for big statement earrings, no necklace, bracelet only if it doesn’t catch on your veil, cathedral length veil, and hair up. 😉
