Lace edging would totally work with that dress.  Bling would too, if that’s what you want.  I wouldn’t consider that small amount of bling on your dress to be that much, and I don’t think it will compete with anything.  Just get what you want!

I made my own cathedral lace-trim veil.  It was pretty easy and cheap, just time consuming to sew all the lace on.  There are tons of tutorials out there.  Or just buy it on Etsy.  There are so many options on Etsy.

What about  every 3-4 inches or so sticking tiny diamantes on the edge?  not enough to look bliiiiiiing,   but just enough to catch the light  and sparkle.

Yes I would also agree that a 1 tier viel would look best,  so that it doesnt obscure the fabulous back details.

Lavender28:  Me too,  my daughter tried on a single layer fingertip veil  with tiny diamantes…..£200!!!!!!

so I bought ultra soft tulle and the diamantes  myself and made TWO  for £6

I am selling the second one on Ebay,  there was so much tulle,  enough for a trial one,  and when it came out so good,  I just made another one…..so in total they cost £3  each I guess.  it’s disgraceful what they charge isnt it?

ao35:  Etsy is definitely legit!  I’ve bought tons of stuff on there over the years, both wedding-related and not.  I guess it’s possible that there are shady sellers out there, but I’ve never come across them.  They all have seller ratings too, so you can read reviews about them.  I think Etsy is a safe option!
