What about cups and saucers glued together or old books? It would be really whimsical and go with your theme.

@bakerella: That is a FANTASTIC idea! Cups and saucers would be so cool!

The second I read this post I had an idea.  But, you’ll have to be willing to do it:

Take mirrored mosaic votive holders like the ones below (you can find them pretty much anywhere, I got mine at Michaels and Garden Ridge) and drill a hole in the bottom so you can hang them upside down like a can light.  Glue in LED votives so it twinkles like candlelight and reflects light.  I think this would be stunning and make it look like its outside in a fairytale!

Not sure if too labor intensive but how about birch or regular branches lining the vault with white lights? Kind of mimicking the rabbit hole?

You can project a branch pattern with lighting.

branches AND teacups- you could spray paint the cups silver or gold

Or spray paint branches and find pink and turquoise tea cups? Or hang pink teacups/saucers glued together with turquoise ribbon, and have LED tea candles glued in them.

First remember what goes up, must come down! Check with your venue, my decorating splurges were limited because my venue requires everything cleaned, removed and everyone gone by midnight, and so far my Bridesmaid or Best Man have not shown any interest in helping with decor. This was an idea I had for shepard hooks along my aisle. tea cups can be bought for .50 cents at Goodwill…. I would use a lovely silver ribbon and hang them at diffrent hights  for a whimsical illusion of a grand Rabbit tea party!

Also keep in mind that anything that could injure someone if it fell, needs to be secured very well.

It doesn’t take nearly as long to undecorate as it does to decorate, but it is a good reminder to check on what the timelines are for your venue.

@SimplyChic11: I would keep  it “simple” with colour streamers and add some of the metalic ones in maybe to reflect light?
