Jeepers Creeps just freaks me out! I hate that movie lol. I also hate Nightmare on elm street. Those are my two love hates because those scare the shiz out of me and I kinda love it. But then I can’t sleep for weeks because I am a baby!

sumshine.dawn:  I agree! Jeepers Creepers is so…creepy! Definitely one of my favorites. The first paranormal activity was also a good one in my opinion.

OldGold:  I loveee the old scary movies ( all the originals), Nightmare on Elm Street, Carrie, Texas Chainsaw massacre, Halloween, Scream, the first Paranormal Activity, The Shining, any good zombie movie ( Quarentine- also the original spanish version is supposed to be insanely scary)

I hear Prisoners from 2013 with Jake Gyllenhall was supposed to be like super dark ( not like BOO scary), The Ring,  The Bone Collector, What lies Beneath ( ok it was scary when I was like 13) lol, the Craft, Along came a spider, ( whats the other Alex Cross one? I read the book something about pretty girls…uggh its on the tip of my brain its where the serial rapist has the harem)

Oh And the Hills have Eyes- I HATED that movie- and House at the end of the street, joy ride, Glass house ( where the girl has diabetes or something), Strangers- thought I couldnt take it seriously those people were so stupid they deserved it)

OldGold:

Not a typical scary movie, but what about the Purge or the Purge: Anarchy (the second one)? I feel like maybe I’m alone on this one but I thought they were both pretty good.

Side Note: Personaly, Jeepers Creepers is a good go-to scary movie! The Hills Have Eyes also freaked me out (and not in a good entertainment way).

I love the movie The Crazies. While it’s not like a terrifying, fast-paced scare, it’s just creepy and unsettling. And I’m big on apocolypse/plague/end-of-the-world scenarios, so that may be why I’m so into it. But it’s well-made. I also enjoyed the first version of the movie, from the 70s (I think) and found it creepy as well, but in a different way!

Stephen King’s “The Stand” is on Netflix, if you are using that. It’s a personal favorite of mine. Again not as scary as it is creepy/a bit odd. It’s long because it was a mini-series, and I have seen all parts but usually only watch the first 2 or 3.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help! I hope you find some good ones. I love scary movies as well but am drawing a blank. I don’t think I’ve seen enough!

OldGold:  In no particular order:

The Ring

The Shining

Mama

I actually own all 3 of those!

I would go with The Ring and Poltergeist.  Only the first of each series since those are the good ones.  Oh and let’s not forget The Shining.

OldGold:  I’ve heard that The Babadook is THE scariest movie….just haven’t got up the nerve to watch it!

lanibug:  It’s not that scary at all 🙂 It’s more psychological.
