We are looking to buy a .9 ct oval diamond and I have no idea how it will look on my finger. my ring size is about a 6.5 or 6.75. The actually diamond is 7.45x 5.21. I feel like that maybe small. I want to set it as solitaire.
I believe a one ct oval on average is about 7.5x 5.5
if you have a ring around this size, it would help a lot if you can post a picture.
thanks you

Sorry for the huge photo, but here’s mine – my finger is size 6, and the oval is 7 x 5 mm, on a 2mm band 🙂 hope that helps!
Here it is with my band:

Also, if you use the diamdb website you can put in your finger size and the diamond size and it will show you what it will look like 🙂

I am around that finger size but found the 1.50 to be small so went with 2.25ct equivalent but it just depends on the coverage you are looking for.
here is the 1.5 on my finger for reference.

Hi there, it will be really small. I tried 1 carat before and I’m 5.5size. Way too small. But here’s a photo of my trying it. Now I have a very pretty 1.9 carat

mine is a 1.01ct measuring 7.42-5.66 also my ring size is a 6.75. For me the size is perfect and I’m happy with it.
