@lealorali:  I have but that was with FH’s band, I emailed picture to my jeweler and they recreated it exactly how we wanted.  I think you need to go over the specs of the band width/.thickness carat weight etc. With customer service before you order, pictures online are magnified and deceiving.

I purchased both of mine online, but I purchased them from a superstore [you could get one at macys, walmart, target, kmart, or jcp], so if there was something wrong with it, I could easily return it!

My plain white gold band is from http://www.weddingringhotline.com.  The band is good quality and I was happy with their service.  Darling Husband ordered his titanium band from overstock.com and he is very happy with it.

I can assure you they are GREAT on customer service, so if you order it and dont love it, they will take it back, no questions asked.  I have had nothing but great experiences with them and Ive had my rings for a while now.  Good Luck!  Let me know if you need more pictures.  My fingers are probably bigger than yours though 😉

I purchased my wedding band on Etsy and I love it! It was our first month anniversary a coupke of days ago (yay!) and it is looking as sparkling as day one. It is platinum half eternity.

I love ebay and online purchasing. Always buy from a place with a good return policy (make sure they don’t charge restocking fees or deduct their S&H from the return you get).

For plain settings without intricate details, I’m more for getting them online. It’s the pave settings or little stones that I worry about falling out and not being warranteed from an online purchase. I am looking at getting a new setting online, but if I opt for one with sidestones I will probably buy from a bricks and mortar store that has a good warranty, like ShaneCo.

Even Zales has the warranty plan you can buy for lifetime diamond replacement if one falls out, re rhodium plating, resizing and re tipping. For those pave settings, it’s so common to lose stones, i think it’s worth it being covered for all those things. For a plain no sidestone stting though, I would DEFINITLY Buy online.

The ring you posted is $249 at Zales, link below online purchase only. Then you could go buy their warranty in the store after it arrived at your house.

@lealorali:  I did get a certificate of authenticity from the seller and I got it checked at a local jeweler, just in case.

But yeah, you never really know…

I had a great experience with Lord of Gem Rings on Ebay.  The band was MUCH less than what it would have cost in store and I am so happy with it. They get great reviews on all of the message boards I’ve checked out and they have a 30 days full money back return policy if you aren’t happy.

I was weary about ordering from ‘ebay’ but it’s only because they use it as their online store instead of having a seperate website.

ETA: Two examples of what they offer. I put in a bid and got my ring for $100 under asking! ($495 vs $595).
