I personally am a big fan of using alternate nicknames – like if you had a son name Jacob, instead of calling him Jake, you called him Cobb or Cub, or if you had Alexander, Xander instead of Alex.
I think my fascination with this began in high school when a boy I had a crush on decided to start going by “Ert” because he felt the second half of his name was neglected from being called Rob his whole life. (Yes, I was a big time nerd to have a crush on this boy, hahaha).

I definitely voted for Baby Smush Face Numbero Uno! But this is coming from someone who already has a womb nickname picked out and won’t even be TTC for like 3 years…
Jacob was my favorite boys name like 6 years ago, and then it started getting more popular. Twilight has put it completely out of the realm of usability for me. I love Evan, Lawrence and Alexander, though — all very solid classics.

i LOVE the name judah 🙂 but jacob and evan are also the names of my close relatives so i like them too

Baby smush face! How cute! OK, I voted for that one because it was funny, but I like Evan Jacob and Alexander Lee.
You could just always call him Jacob, and make everyone call him Jacob. Then he won’t like being called Jake. I think you could just call him Jacob and make sure people don’t, in in cute little baby voices, call him Jakey. But I bet his little smush face will like being called whatever you choose!

I voted for Evan Jacob. I love the name Evan.
I do love the name Jackson too, my nephew is a Jaxson…we call him Jax. Super cute! I do think Jackson/Jaxon/Jaxson are all becoming more popular though, I have heard of a lot of little boys with that name.

I think they’re all great names. Jackson is at the top of our short list (for the baby we have yet to conceive, lol). Of those names, I like Judah the most.

I voted for Jacob Lawrence but you would have to prepare yourself for everyone but you calling him Jake! I also like Evan though.
