JennyChicago- I am not sure what your original post said, BUT I am on your side!! If you don’t wanna have those 2 ladies in YOUR wedding then you don’t have to!  I am sorta in the same situation (do I keep her just because she is my future SIL?) In my opinion bridesmaids should be there for you the bride!  They are your support, your go-to ladies for everything and anything wedding related….and from what I gathered by your posts there are a couple ladies who are not willing to do just that.  So just ignore all the negative posts and keep on planning!!!!!  Good luck 🙂

“If you can’t post something nice, don’t post anything at all…”

Please don’t resort to personal attacks, i.e. calling someone selfish.  Thanks!

I am stunned that my post got deleted because I called her selfish. That is not any more a personal attack than what many others have said in this thread already, just swap out “selfish” for “mean.” And her reply thanking the bees for their non-help oozes with snarkiness. Why are you picking and choosing who to censor?

JennyChicago – I don’t know what you said originally either, but I get the feeling from the responses you may have been quick to kick them out of your wedding for being pregnant and/or not helping out as much as you’d hoped.

I just want to say that I understand the feelings/emotions you are going through. I have one Bridesmaid or Best Man who hasn’t spoken to me since I asked her to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man 1 year ago except to announce her pregnancy. I’ve emailed/called/texted/facespaced and nothing. She showed up to my shower 1.5 hours late and it was only a 3 hour shower! To make things worse she was in charge of the games so we finally gave up on her and just started opening presents. Despite all this though, I would never kick her out b/c at the end of the day she’s my friend and she wasn’t trying to be mean, it’s just how she is.

Honestly BM’s have lives outside of the wedding and you are LUCKY if you get one who actually cares or helps out more than on the actual day. So if I were you, I’d try to just shake it off, whatever it was, and maybe don’t count on the two of them for any ‘big’ jobs.

Good luck and expect some honest critisism on this site!!
