Thank you all for the thoughts! The good thing is I’ll be able to make the decision up until walking down the aisle, but I still feel torn. Part of me thinks it looks pretty on its own, but the other part thinks it feels unfinished without the belt. The dress does come with it so I guess it’s intended to be worn with a belt but when I first tried it on I didn’t like the belt. Now seeing it with it altered I’ve flipped back and forth! Here is the photo from the designers site:

Either no belt or a different belt. That one isn’t doing it for you.

gmj401 : I prefer the blush belt with it, as it brings out some color. A belt with a little sparkle might also be nice.

No , no belt , it breaks the line of that lovely fitted lace bodice . It does not look ‘unfinished ‘ at all.
Often poeple say a belt ‘defines’ or ‘accentuates’ the waist , but whilst that may be true, it isn’t necessarily synonymous with enhancing the dress or even making the waist look look smaller.
