    @lawbride88:  start it at Sunset and go Late! If you start at 6, people expect to eat.

    I voted for a brunch wedding! It’s unusual and fun but not unheard of, your menu sounds amazing (I looooove brunch foods!), and given the crowd you’re describing, a laid-back brunch reception sounds perfect. If you and most of your guests don’t drink, a brunch wedding is also probably preferable — I feel like more people would expect drinks at an evening wedding, or at least expect a more formal sit-down dinner or buffet, at a 6:30 reception. If you’re providing a cocktail for your guests to buy, you could go for a mimosa (orange juice and sparkling wine), so that people can have a drink that still goes with the brunch theme but won’t get people wasted before noon.

    You can’t really go wrong either way, but I think your first instinct for the brunch wedding is the right one!
