I want to use small cakes as my centerpieces, does anyone know of any Real Wedding pictures that show this being done so I can get idead on what they should look like???? PLEASE and THANK YOU!!

I don’t have any pictures but I have heard about this on some of the blogs. One reader who went to a wedding with cake centerpieces said everyone enjoyed going around to try the different flavors.

I love this idea and wanted to do it myself until we determined that it would cost us just as much or more than having a big cake and floral centerpieces. I decided that I’d rather have the big, beautiful focal-point cake and flowers than lots of mini cakes if the cost difference was minimal.
I do think it looks really nice and is something that would set your reception apart from most other your guests have been to. Just something to think about!

My question is…Do the caterers/waitstaff cut up these individual cakes? I doubt it.
By The Way I am a cake decorator if anyone has cake questions.
A tip: if the cake stand is expensive glue a plate to an upside down vase or bowl. Instant cakestand.
