@lolot:  Oh my god that’s beautiful. Is that your dress?

@Aorta:  isn’t it?  It was discontinued for a while and I obsessed about finding one.  Well I finally did, and I didn’t like how it looked on me :/  I’m pretty petite and slim, but it made me look really blocky.  Oh to be a 5’10” skinny model!  It really is a gorgeous dress though, and several wedding blogs have posts with brides looking beautiful in it.

I’ll add a couple pics in case you’re considering it.  I’m 5’5″ 120 lbs and this is a size 0.

@lolot:  I cant get over how gorgeous it is. I think we have similar builds, I’m 5’3 and 105lbs. From an outside perspective, I think it looks fantastic on you, and it would probably look even better with the right undergarments. It makes me sad that I’m probably too short for this dress – I actually envy your 5’5″ness haha!

Thank you for the pictures, it really helps. I’m still on the hunt for my dress, and that one was nearly spot on.

@Aorta:  You could always order one and return it if you don’t love it.  That’s what I was going to do, except I found a half-priced one on Craigslist (and then was able to sell it).  I think they’re on BHLDN now.  Lemme see…. Yup!  $600.  http://www.bhldn.com/shop-the-bride-wedding-dresses/cypress-gown/productoptionids/fbcaeb8b-b90b-4e9a-9313-32da085940dd

They’re super long so you’d definitely have to get it shortened – the one in my pictures had been shortened and the small train removed by the previous bride.  They even have a size 00, which would be good cause it runs way big.  But you never know, it might look banging on you!  Worth a try!

Oh and thank you Smile

@lolot:  THAT GORGEOUS PIECE OF ART IS ONLY $600?
The return policy doesnt look bad at all either.

I love you right now. Thank you!!

@Aorta:  Right?!  No problem.  I was totally obsessing about this dress for like 8 months so I’m glad to pass on some knowledge.

I love love love the “much like this one” dress pictured above. Who is the designer and where can I buy it?
