Also accidentally voted for the Vera Wang when I meant to vote for the first dress! I didn’t see the name of the first dress so I thought it was the first one on the voting thingy. Just wanted to chime in that the first dress looks amazing but I think a thin belt would make it look even better!

I love the first dress on you. It is so classy and timeless. Stick with that one!

I love the first dress! Very similar to the one I have my eye one. It looks amazing with your skin tone, very whimsical and just gorgeous! Go with your heart. 🙂

I have to say that the first dress looks amazing on you! But you need to do what feels right.

I’m not really a fan of the mermaid dress and love the first one.  So classic and elegant.  I just don’t think the shape is flattering to even the most ideal body type.  It reminds me of a short tight clubbing/party dress with fluff on on the bottom to me, sorry.

I’m in a similar situation myself, and your original dress looks very similar to my dress! I think you look gorgeous in your original dress, but I totally get the struggle of not being in love with it, and just wanting to look beautiful.

I like the dress that you have already purchased and I think it would look fantastic with a very nice belt/sash but I think if you could afford to purchase the second dress I say go ahead and do it. If you don’t love it than return it just to calm your nerves but after the second dress. I HIGHLY suggest you stop looking at other dresses.

My dress shop gaved me 5 days. If there was something wrong with the dress I could return it. I love my dress. The only thing wrong was that it was a little big but after alterations it will be perfect.

They are so different! If they were similar I would say stick to the one you already have but ultimately its about how you want to look that day. Do you want a dreamy romantic look or modern sophisticated look?

They both look spectacular on you!

Your dress is FAR more lovely than the mermaid IMO. You look fantastic in it.

The first one is absolutely beautiful and you look lovely in it. Try it on with a sash! I feel like that will take away yourr dislike with the waist.

Both dresses look so beautiful, and I can imagine that both would look amazing on you. That being said, your dress IS very different from what you first envisioned, and I dont know if that feeling ever goes away… but I know it keeps bothering me when I end up buying something for a special event that I didnt exactly envision wearing. I might be in the minority here, but I say buy the Vera Wang mermaid dress, try it on, and see how you feel. If its so-so, return it asap. Otherwise, consider it as a strong possibility. You could also always wear both dresses ….

I love the first one and think you should try adding a belt to see if it lengthens the waist. Maybe a simple ribbon like the one on the Vera Wang? You could also see if removing crinoline from the skirt to make it slimmer would make you like it more.
