I bought my wedding dress on Saturday but after getting home I found out it came in a different color. The shop said I can change the color but it has to be today. The dress is pictured here in a gold/ivory (the one with the pink staging behind it. The other photo is the one I originally purchase. My wedding is outside, under a tent, with the colors of blush/gold/slate blue if that helps.

Personally, I like the one you chose. The gold/ivory dress might clash with your chosen colors. They are both beautiful though!

Im a fan of the other dress. The colors make it pop. Both are beautiful though. Go with your gut on which you should do. If yougotthe first dress without knowing the other existed, this wouldnt be an issue. So you know both are perfect 🙂

have you seen pictures of real brides in the other color? The model/stock photo might look great but that’s because they have the perfect lighting and editing to make it look it’s absolute best. It may look very different in person.
I’m a sucker for traditional though and I like the color you have

I would stick to the color you chose. We have similar complexion and I bought my dress in diamond white because ivory/blushes made me look way too pink. Your dress is beautiful!

I would say go with the one you chose! I bought a similar dress (tulle bottom with lace) and the color in the store was gold/ivory- the gold did not come across the way it does in that picture, it honestly just looked dirty/brown to me. Maybe I was just too sold on the traditional white/ivory dress for myself though 🙂

Thanks ladies! I think I will go with what I have. You don’t think it’s way too white though, right? Like a soft white?

I think it’s perfect, and you look beautiful!

Beautiful dreass! I love Allure dresses. I think the white is great, I feel like with a lot of straight white dresses it loses the lace or applique so champagne or other colors make it all stand out. On your dress however I think the white is beautiful and looks lovely on your skintone. I say stick with what you tried on!

Personally I LOVE the gold. My wedding colors were saphire for bridesmaids dresses, gold for accents, and then BRIGHT colored flowers. My gold dress was wonderful, and didn’t clash at all with anything.
I’d recommend checking it out in person though–in my case it was a very pale gold, which did amazing things for my skin tone and made the lace and beading pop. A harsher gold wouldn’t have been nearly as awesome.
In photos you can barely even tell my dress was gold. The day after my husband told me it wasn’t gold, it was white. I had to show him the dress again so he’d believe me!
