I am getting married in a historical church so music selection needs to be carefully picked. Lyrics are fine though. I think I’ve decided to walk into Vitamin String Quartet’s cover of U2s All I Want is You. I can’t decide on a song for by BM’s to walk into though! Thoughts? I’m considering Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel… but it feels a little outside, summer wedding to me…
I’m also stuck on my “Me” song for our slideshow. We’re doing Bride growing up, Groom growing up, and us together. Last song I’m stuck on is our parent dance, bride/father and groom/mother. If anyone has any suggestions I’d love to hear them, songs are hard!! You could search for ever for the perfect ones if you wanted to drive yourself crazy 🙂

For your bridesmaids what about an instrumental of “Marry You”? For the “you” portion of the slideshow what about “Suddenly I See”? And for the parents’ dance song maybe “Sunrise, Sunset” from Fiddler on the Roof?
Just some suggestions! 🙂

Thank you, those are all really great 🙂
Any more suggestions out there for me? Always nice to have someone else’s opinions!

im stuck on the “me: portion of the slideshow as well. i was thinking brandi carlile’s “the story” or maroon 5’s “she will be loved”.
i’ve also been to two weddings where the brides used bruno mars’ “just the way you are”, and no doubt’s “running”
as for ceremony, i think my BM’s are walking down to Vitamin String Quartet’s version of Coldplay’s “Yellow”. their version of christina perri’s “a thousand years” is nice too.
best of luck!!
