Lol pretty sure they have those chairs at my work (I work for a school district). I’d for sure go with white folding chairs over those. Prob your cheapest option.

I’d prob rather that chair than a white metal folding one. At least that looks slightly comfortable!

How much does it cost to rent the chairs you want? If it’s minimal cost that’s fine, but if it’s more than a few hundred bucks that’s money that can be better used elsewhere imo.

Could you make the colors for the reception something to incorporate the blue chairs?  Like purple and blue, or copper and blue?  Something fun and classy.  Then make the reception area (if they provide different chairs?) your purple and copper colors?  So the 2 areas are complementary but not exactly the same, if that make sense.

I would add pops of aqua/blue into your wedding colors. Wrap a blue ribbon around the bouquets, add some blue glass stones scattered onto the reception tables, drape some blue fabric around windows in your venue, etc. Drape some purple fabric along the rows of chairs. Now your colors include blue, and it will look tied together!

Ehhh. I don’t really like the idea of adding that particular blue into your current color scheme. Not for those chairs at least. Have you looked into spandex chair covers? They look much cleaner and uniform than those gaudy satin ones.

rowemance2017 :  I understand, I lucked upon a cheap little venue myself and having to work around some less than desirable things.  I would find a way to rent some chairs (I’m having to do this because I can’t live with the ugly gray metal folding chairs).  If you want to share what area you live in, we could help you look?

I would use those chairs in a heartbeat rather than spend several  hundred dollars renting other chairs for a 15 minute ceremony, money that could be spent on things that your guests will appreciate more- like food and beverages, or your honeymoon!

It will be easy to add a few bits of the same blue to your palette without changing anything you have already purchased or made.

They look like they are too small for adults.

rowemance2017 :  oh boy..those are pretty awful i agree lol

since your using the same chairs for both ceremony and reception, I would suggest that you do rent chairs… they will be used all day and you obviously care, I dont really see another option.
