I think those colors would work really well together!

I think you could keep the bridesmaids’ dresses just as they are, because the color is a lighter champagne color than your beautiful gown.  How about having your maids carry bouquets with red flowers? That would keep your color scheme intact and provide a big POP of color against the neutral dresses.

@Brielle:  THIS!

Since your dress is two colours, and one of those colours is quite dramatic, another strong colour might compete with it too much, especially if there’s more of it than the gold colour.

Having red flowers would actually showcase the red far more than red dresses would, because the colour would stand out more.

The pale colour would also be more suitable for summer, ans possibly suit a wider range of skin tones (red can looks great or awful, depending on whether it’s a warm or cool red).

Stick with what you have! The champagne/champagne is STUNNING! And I agree with PP, red boquets for the maids!

Further to that, if you want to have some more red, maybe have flower girls in that colour, if you’re having them. Or red shoes. There are many ways.

I think deep red with champagne would look good! Or maybe a magenta-ish red?

I was planning deep red bridesmaid dresses for a fall wedding. Not sure if it’ll be chiffon or something else.  I think the dress would look fine in a reddish hue.

I think the two dresses match wonderfully together. I would keep it the ivory cream color it is. Red dresses attract to much attention on the bridesmaids and take away the spotlight from the bride. Your choice is beautiful !

Luchae:  I know it’s been a while since your wedding and this post may be a longshot, but I saw this dress and have fallen in love with it as well. Can you please tell me where you purchased it? I went to janebridal.en.alibaba.com, but can’t find it anywhere! Suggestions???
