Where do you live? Or where are you thinking of having your wedding?

Well personally I like June 11th. Wink We changed our minds back and forth forever. Our first date was Sept 10, 2011 (9-10-11 hehe), but now we picked the 11th of June. For us some of the deciding factors were what the families had going on (we have 3 graduations the first weekend in June and our daughter starts kindergarten in Aug), holidays (the weekend of june 17-19 is father’s day weekend). Our parents are big boaters so anything like Memorial or Labor Day weekend they have big parties they always go to. Our reception is going to be in Indy so we wanted to avoid sporting events, like the Indy 500 or Colts games, because it can be hard to get around downtown. Hope this helps.

Have you found a venue or caterer? We picked our date based on what availability our top choice vendor had.

My FH is a huge sports fan, so I am trying to avoid major sporting events, ie, superbowl, final four, world series, etc.

I vote for June. I love the sound of a June wedding rather than a September one. Also, I’d rather it be hot than have bugs! A warmer day will just mean the night will also be quite pleasant. But I have to say fall in the midwest is beautiful. 🙂
