Can you post the lab reports for the diamonds? The 1.75 ct E looks like it *may* have more complimentary angles, but it’s hard to say based on pics (especially pics taken in different lighting).  Also, depending on how each of them are cut, their actual face up size might be minimal. The lab reports will help a lot.

I voted 1.75 because of better color and more intricate setting. I think the color difference would be noticable. I like my stones bright and white, f is the lowest I would want to go. That’s just me.

With your finger size, a 1.75 would already look huge on you. This is just my personal taste, I feel anything bigger than a 2 on my 6.5 finger starts to look a tad costume-y.

    Congrats!

This is definitely two separate questions: which diamond and which setting.

I prefer the look of the bottom setting, the side profile is much prettier and the halo looks like it’s made better (the diamonds are showcased rather than the metal).

As for which diamond, it’s really hard to say without knowing their specs and proportions, face up size is important to you I’m sure and price for the diamonds alone should be considered.

Well the 2.07ct is cut rather shallow, so it will face up significantly larger than the 1.75.  However the angles on the 2.07ct are not very complimentary.  So if you value size and color (which in lab diamonds is more of a consideration in lab growns vs natural diamonds), I’d suggest you go with the 2.07.  But the angles of the 1.75 are more promising, so if you value performance it’s probably the better bet.  Here is a picture of what they’d look like on a 5.75 finger.  Tough call.
