I think both dresses are gorgeous! But I am girl that likes to compliment/match – so what is your theme or venue? That would help make the choice, if it were me.

My dress was chosen because 1)it looked beautiful on me & was flattering 2)my theme is soft & romantic, but also simple and the dress is all of those things.

I knew before making any plans for my wedding that whatever dress I picked would go well with my theme/venue. Does that make sense? I’m sure that is not a popular opinion to have but I like things to vibe together, to flow

Well why can’t you have the best of both worlds? There are dresses out there with the flow of the Maggie but have open backs and slinky qualities. And you still have a petite body however you can find dresses with airs of sexiness that look more bridal than Katie May (I always felt like those looked like you were trying to hard – subtle sophistication is the name of the game)

I agree with llussier, you can definitly have the best of both worlds! If you have the time, i suggest keep looking. I settled for TWO dresses(ceremony and reception) because I liked the sexiness of one and the bridal feel of the other. I then had buyers remorse, canceled those orders and found ONE gown that had ALL the eliments I wanted and I still felt like a bride. Mine is a low back Watters mermaid. I like Katie May gowns as well and considered going with her but the gown were too siple for my taste. Check out Watters…i tried on a few of their gowns and the quality and details are there and they have low back dresses with Maggie patience type fronts:).

Out of the 3 you posted, the last dress is my favorite. I also agree with the post above that you can get the best of both worlds. If you aren’t 100% on 1 of the 3 dresses, keep looking : ) Good luck!

I love you in the last dress picture that you posted.  Your smile says that you really like the dress too.  If you opt for the Katie May I suggest that you raise the back 2 inches and wear heels to lengthen the lines of your body.  Pick the dress that makes you happy.  The most flattering dress will be the dress that you are happiest in because you will radiate confidence.

The Maggie for sure. The other two have drop dead gorgeous backs, yes, but from the front they kind of fall flat. And they don’t show you off nearly as much.

You look really good in that Maggie Sottero <3 Maybe the fiance wouldn’t mind a backless figure-hugging dress for the honeymoon? 😉
