Hello, I recently got a new canary diamond from my beautiful fiance and want to pair it with my cartier wedding ring for a stacked look. I have the yellow gold band but have time to exchange for white gold. I can’t decide which looks better. I know it’s not uncommon to mix metals so I like both looks.
Please share your opinions on which would look better. I have a picture of my ring with the yellow band and a separate photograph of the white gold band.
Thanks for your time 🙂

Personally, I think the white gold would look better.

I like the white gold better. Your e-ring is so stunning, I think the yellow gold might detract from it!

I prefer the yellow. I am big fan of mixing metals though. 🙂 Gorgeous ring!

@ArangoA: I loooove the e-ring and I loooove the band but I don’t think they look good together as a pair. I think the band is very distracting and takes away from the ring but I think both are fabulous individually. However, I don’t know you personally, maybe you have an eclectic style and it fits your personality. If both are a must have, I vote for the matching metal.

Is it possible for you to keep the wedding band in yellow gold (since it seems its the one you want, because you picked it first) and get another band that coordinates with the canary e-ring? Maybe you could do a mossinate band. IMO The cartier one does not match the design of your e-ring, and really takes away from its beauty.

I’m stumped. But I just wanted to say I LOVE your ring. It’s gorgeous.

I agree with Soladylike and mrscheetos. Looooove your e-ring!

I have a yellow diamond also and I intend to get 2 bands, one in each metal. I’m all for mixing metals,

Thanks ladies. I agree I could keep the “love” band for my right hand and wear my wedding set alone or add an anniversary band to set for a stacked look. The “love” band caught my attention because I like the thickness of the band.
