I feel like my wedding is suddenly becoming very random! It started out with navy blue bridesmaid dresses and beige suites for gm. then when it came time to pick flowers, i thought maybe some more color would be nice, and decided to go with pink for the flowers. the gm will have navy ties to match the bm dresses, but the groom will be in a champagne colored striped tie.the reason i picked this tie for him is because with the flowers being pink, i thought it might be kind of random in our bride/groom pictures to have him in a blue tie/vest. and me with no blue to be found-just pink flowers!
the bm’s have decided on gold shoes and accesories, and the flower girls will be in white with a navy sash. the gm are not having bouts, instead they are having pocket squares to match their ties (navy)
now i have decided i want colored shoes, but don’t know what to do…blue won’t match my bouquet or ANYTHING about the groom or myself…but pink seems kind of odd also for some reason…maybe i should just stick with white? i should also say i am wearing a sapphire bracelet that is an heirloom…
in thinking about this i feel like there are a lot of colors going on and worry that it will become too crazy looking. nothing except the bm dresses is beyond change at this point….what should i do??? i am really stressing out about this
I should say specifically what i am worried about is that:
1. the pink flowers will look random
2. the groom will look "off" in his champagne
3. the groomsmen/dads/groom will have no pink at all
4. my shoes!!!

#1- take a deep breath.
#2- the pink flowers will not look random. Pink, blue and beige look great together.
#3- if you think the groom will look ‘off,’ get him a pink tie!
#4- get pink shoes. Or, get blue shoes. It’s ok. It’ll look good together.
Just remember that it will look good- no matter what. My groomsmen are in black tuxes- the groom is in white. None of my bridesmaids are wearing the same color. it’s all about spreading the colors around.

ok.. calm down.
My best friend has a similar situation. Blue and beige are great colors and the pink will make great accents. I attached some picks. She did a light light blue, but you’ll get the idea.
I would keep all flowers in the pinks and cream tones, keep it consistent.
Champagne on the groom will be fine since it will play nice off the gold shoes and the cream tone in the flowers.
The groomsmen and dads can have pink and cream flowers for the boutienerre
For your shoes you can do whatever you want. I would Pink or Gold.

I think you just need a couple of things, and it will all flow together.
The girls will look great in navy carrying pink flowers – great combo! The guys will look great in beige with the navy. What about not doing the navy pocket square, and using one of the pink flowers (like what the BM’s are carrying) as a boutonniere? And you could do the same thing on the groom, and let him still do the champagne tie. I feel like if you tie this together, you can do the pink shoes – or you could do navy shoes – I would not get a random blue color though. If not pink or navy, I’d stick with white.

Now that I’m dishing advice, what do you think about my colors:
Hot pink Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, and the guys are in navy/white seersucker. I’m having them wear pink ties to tie it all together – Groomsmen in long ties, and my fiance in a bow tie. I’m still not sure about flowers though – could I just do bright green and white flowers? Do you think the BM’s need a sash?

thanks everyone…i am feeling a lot better. it’s so NOT a crisis, but of course I have to make it one haha!!! I think I would feel better if the groomsmen had some sort of pink also…but I really love the pocket square idea. what would light pink pocket squares look like with a navy tie? or do they need to match?
mcRae: Originally I was going to do all green and white flowers too, but then I only had one main wedding color(navy) and it was just too hard. I think you could easily do that, or you could do a mix of pinks/beiges/greens, or do something with a navy ribbon to kind of tie it together, like the attached pictures. I think I might do this also, but probably not on my bouquet. I’m trying to think of how it will look with just me and the groom in pictures-because that is one we will definitely want a good one of!
My bridesmaids bouquets are going to be tightly clustered carnations, so i kind of want to keep them monochromatic because I like that better with carnations, but I think a mix would look great with your color combo!
I dont think the bridesmaids need a sash…I think it will all flow together nicely, but you could always try one and see if you liked it or if you thought it was too much.
also…if there is no "blue" on me or the groom, is the sapphire bracelet going to look out of place or am i WAY overthinking this????

You can definitely do a pink pocket square! What about one of the pinks that are in your flowers? I think that would look great!
I love the flowers you attached! Thanks for those ideas!
Your sapphire bracelet will be perfect!

The great thing about navy and beige is that they are both very neutral colors. That said, you can introduce the pink without it looking odd or out of place. In fact, I think it will add a nice pop! I would agree with some of the other posters about giving the groom and groomsmen a dash of pink to carry the color across: pink pocket square, pink boutonniere, or pink tie. My groom is considering wearing something different than his groomsmen and my dad, but will have the same tie and flowers (their wearing Hawaiian leis). Fine with me! It’s his day, too.
As for your shoes, is your dress floor length or short? If it’s long, I think you can wear blue shoes, pink shoes, or whatever color you fancy. I’m wearing a turquoise blue, which is not one of our wedding colors at all, but I think would be lots of fun for those close-up pictures, but more than likely no one but me and a few others will even know I’m wearing blue shoes. This is the part that’s supposed to be fun!

I like your color combos! I think the pink flowers will work well with the navy dresses and will added good pop of color. I think that champagne tie will be fine with your pink flowers.
I do like the suggestion of replacing the pocket squares with pink boutonnieres.
Your wedding will be lovely!

Pink pocket squares will look great. And you could wear pink or blue shoes. Don’t worry. It will all look great. Much better and more natural than if you went supery matchy matchy with every element.
