Using PVS pip and sand bags o anchor it you could create an easy up curtain holder. Then use whie shower curtains or curtains that have the holes for he pip already sewn in.

Or get lattice work to cover it. not sure how to easily secure it.

You can do a ribbon wall. Use two patio umbrella bases with a pipe inserted between which you can string your wire.

It looks like you can drape fabric or plastic sheeting from the top of the silver box and put something heavy on top of the fabric/plastic sheeting to hold it in place.  It looks like there is a little ledge on the top of the silver box that can hold your weights that can be something decorative or you could just wrap a few bricks with the fabric/sheeting and stick the bricks pretty far back where they won’t easily be seen.

If you only wrap the box up, it might just look silly and draw attention to it.   Might be better to focus on decorating the areas around where your ceremony will be held.  Your photographs won’t show that ugly box, and most of your guests won’t notice it. I would recommend checking out the sound around that box or vent.  You don’t want some fan noise drowning out your vows.

I have to hide an ugly electrical box too, but its not quite as large…we are going to Lowes and buying some trees (they are only about $30) to hide it.

I like the potted trees idea!
