Hello bees! I’m having trouble deciding on which bridesmaid dress to pick for my ladies! I like different things about each one, and both girls like both dresses….so that’s no help!
A little background, we are doing a destination wedding on the beach in April. I originally wanted my colors to be a bright pink and orange, but have had trouble finding a dress I like in a good orange – so we are down to these two dresses in pink. A salesperson tried to lead us toward the chiffon dress since it ‘s more “flowy” and we are doing a beach wedding – however my dress is not a typical destination dress, so I don’t know that it matters if my bridemaid dress is “beachy”.
Here are the two dresses we are deciding between:
a) Bill Levkoff 527
b) Alexia C972
If it helps, my dress is the Maggie Sottero Jenna:

Your dress is HAUTE girl! =]
I say the Alexia dress, the more simplistic the better! IMO!

I think you dress is beautiful!!
I like option A better… i like the pleating on the bust with matches your dress…. & i think the girls can wear it again :] & i agree, just because its at the beach it does not have to be “beachy”
I also think its classier!
Hope that helps! :]
& good luck..
btw.. i just posted a thread on “Dress”…(Rosa Clara vs. Lazaro) & i need help choosing my wedd. Dress… please HELP! i would appreciate it!

I liked the first one better, it seemed that it would be more wearable again! I liked the pleating and the bodice better as well.

I haev to be honest I dont think either of the bridesmaid dresses are as special as your wedding dress. I would keep looking. I think something maybe halter would look good with ur sweetheard strapless… ur dress mermaid dress is so spicy and distinctive you need something that compares 🙂

I really like the Alexia one. I’m not sure how much it costs, but there is a really similar one at David’s Bridal that I wore for my friend’s wedding. I want to say it was around $130 there.

I picked the first one. You’re right the second one has a more beachy feel. However, if there is any wind (it’s the beach…there’s going to be wind), I would be afraid that your bridesmaids would spend most of their time trying to keep their dresses down so they don’t flash anyone! I’d go with the one that has a sturdier fabric.

i like the 1st one better. good point about the wind!
